We Came Here for Freedom

Yesterday, Sunday, here in Auckland, the weather was cold and it poured with rain - again. So what better way to enjoy a stormy afternoon than revving up all the heaters and watching a two-part movie on the Freedom Convoy of 2022 on chromecast?

Operation People have simply done a stellar job with this movie and my congratulations go out to director Alistair Harding. I loved it all - and the emotions it evokes in me are still very powerful. I will never forget standing up with my countrymen & women in the largest protest this country has ever known. It was an honour to be so surrounded with people who love this country as I do.

One of the things that struck me in the beginning of Part 1 is that all those tens of thousands of good Kiwis from every walk of life, who came out to welcome the convoy along the streets and overpasses of every NZ town and city were NOT a minority of our people.  The support for the convoy was overwhelming and this movie shows that clearly.

Well-done! And thank you for such a wonderfully made epic documentary in two parts.
We have this cultural record forever.
