[First published on Insight @theBFD 26/9/19] What a week thus far in politics – and it’s only Wednesday! The UN General Assembly always brings world issues to the forefront for a time, but this week was unusually striking for the level of outright insanity on display. The definition of autism is: “a developmental disorder characterized by difficulties with social interaction and communication, and by restricted and repetitive behaviour.” Greta Thunberg, the young Swedish activist who is obviously very unwell, was allowed by her handlers (including her odd parents), to engage in a public meltdown at world leaders during the UN Climate Summit with her now infamous “How Dare You” speech. Simply stunning was the fact that so many world leaders, including our own PM Ardern, offer hearty congratulations and support to the overt exploitation of this clearly suffering girl. Greta, who actually has been diagnosed with autism, selective mutism, depression and anxiety, plus an eating disorder to boot, is nonetheless thrown onto the world stage to dramatise like a performing monkey her hysterical belief that we are “at the beginning of a mass extinction,” a conviction which the adults in her life have brainwashed her into holding, thus throwing some light on why she has so many mental health issues for one so young. I, along with many other people watching this girl steadily unravel, call this the cold and sustained abuse of a minor. Her trauma is one of the saddest public spectacles I’ve ever witnessed. If ever there was a kid who needed to be put to bed for a spell of normalcy with a hot water bottle and a nice cup of camomile tea, it’s Greta. This poor child appears to be only one meltdown away from needing to be committed to a mental institution, yet the grown-up world of climate alarmists around her disgracefully don’t seem to give a stuff. Also this week, regarding the ongoing tensions with Iran, Secretary Pompeo has been saying unequivocally that the vicious drone attacks on Saudi Arabia’s oil facilities on September 14th, which effects the stability of the world oil market, was an act of war committed by Iran – even though Houthis rebels claimed that they did it. Pompeo maintains only Iran had the technological capability to make the attack as successful as it was. Iran’s leaders only fight wars by proxy and lie through their teeth that they have any involvement. This is nothing new. What is new, is that President Macron, Chancellor Merkel and Prime Minister Johnson, who have pathetically been doing their best to keep the JCPOA Iranian deal alive, despite US withdrawal from it, have all made a joint statement about the attacks saying that: “It is clear for us that Iran bears responsibility for this attack. There is no other plausible explanation. We support ongoing investigations to establish further details.” Macron has been urging President Rouhani to meet with President Trump as soon as possible, a role that Macron also tried to play last month at the G7 summit, when he had Javad Zarif flown in as his personal guest in order to spring a surprise meeting on President Trump. Trump refused to meet with Zarif in that particular context. Yet, two days ago, Zarif, sat down for an interview with CNN’s Christiane Amanpour, where he declared, “We believe we need to start working together for peace, for confidence-building, for de-escalation, for exchanges, and even for a non-aggression pact.” Amanpour asked, “Are you saying that President Rouhani in this heightened atmosphere of tension would be willing, here at this general assembly, to meet with President Trump?” Zarif responded, “Provided that President Trump is prepared to do what is necessary.” No meeting between the two presidents has taken place to date. Today, President Rouhani had a sit-down interview with Fox News’ Chris Wallace. Unsurprisingly, Rouhani denied outright that Iran had anything to do with the September 14th attacks. He maintains that it was the work of Houthis rebels in Yemen, thus taking US and European world leaders for fools. To top off this week’s political insanity, the Democratic Party has again announced (as they have done with the repetitiveness of honking geese since Trump was elected) that they are pushing forward to impeach him, based on a murky piece of evidence from yet another anonymous leaker. If this sounds familiar, that might be because it follows almost the exact pattern of the so-called Russian collusion narrative, only this time Democrats are accusing the president of Ukrainian collusion. The Democrats are hoping that a leaked conversation by phone between President Trump and Ukrainian President, Volodymyr Zelensky, will expose some kind of illegal activity on Trump’s part. The Democrats claim that a quid-pro-quo took place between the two leaders over information on Joe Biden and his son, Hunter, in exchange for military aid from the US to the Ukraine. The US has been consistently helping Ukraine since Trump was elected. As always with the politically autistic left, the cringe-worthy lack of self-awareness and the obvious projections are remarkable. Just as they were the ones who actually colluded with Russians, i.e the fabrication and purchase of the ‘Steele dossier’ – a misnomer if ever there was one (it should be known as the ‘Democratic Committee dossier’) and the Uranium One deal, which not only saw 20 percent of US uranium production placed under the control of Vladimir Putin(!), but also a deal which included substantial financial kick-backs to the Clinton Foundation while Hillary Clinton was serving as Obama’s Secretary of State! So now we have the situation where Hunter Biden, a recovering drug and alcohol addict, is involved in two highly questionable business deals, one in China and one in Ukraine, while his father was Obama’s Vice President. Hunter served on the board of BHR Partners, a massive private investment fund which saw China donate 1.5 billion dollars to his private equity firm which he co-owns with his friend Chris Heinz (the ketchup empire) – Chris also happens to be the step-son of John Kerry, who served as Secretary of State after Hillary Clinton. As Peter Schweizer wrote in his book, “Secret Empires: How the American Political Class Hides Corruption and Enriches Family and Friends”: “So their sons going into business together in June 2009 was not exactly a bolt out of the blue. But with whom their sons cut lucrative deals while the elder two were steering the ship of state is more of a surprise. What Hunter Biden, the son of America’s vice president, and Christopher Heinz, the stepson of the chairman of the Senate Committee on Foreign Relations (later to be secretary of state), were creating was an international private equity firm. It was anchored by the Heinz family alternative investment fund, Rosemont Capital. The new firm would be populated by political loyalists and positioned to strike profitable deals overseas with foreign governments and officials with whom the US government was negotiating.” This may explain why Obama’s administration was so consistently soft on China’s trade cheating. In the Ukraine, Burisma Holdings, Ukraine’s largest private gas company, paid Hunter up to $50,000 a month to sit on its board. In 2014, it was investigated for money laundering and corruption, and Hunter Biden was accused of taking three million dollars, allegedly laundered through Cyprus. Daddy Joe pressured the government to fire its head prosecutor, which happened, then approved a second prosecutor and boasted on camera that he’d done this by threatening to withhold a billion dollars worth of loan guarantees. Collusion and corruption are just a normal day at work for Democrat officials, this is obviously why they automatically assume everyone else does it too. To put this latest impeachment hysteria to bed, President Trump is expected to release a transcript of the conversation with President Zelensky tomorrow, but Democrats are already saying that it won’t be enough to make them drop the impeachment bone they’re slobbering over in a collective frenzy. We know that Democrats do not have the grace, courage or moral sense to let President Trump serve his elected time in office, they’ve been talking impeachment since his inauguration day, resorting to every dirty trick in the book from illegal surveillance and fake sex scandals, to foreign collusion and even trying to spin the accusation that the president is a Russian asset. Now they want the world to believe he’s also a Ukrainian asset, which presents an obvious problem to their narratives when one remembers that Russia and Ukraine are currently fighting a war. With issues on the table for President Trump as globally important as the role Iran will or will not play toward world peace in the future regarding their nuclear capabilities, that Democrats once again choose to try to delegitimise his presidency during the very week that world leaders are in town for the UN General Assembly is staggeringly unpatriotic and appalling. This is symptomatic of clearly hating your president more than loving your country. But as the president stated in his UN address, “The future does not belong to globalists, the future belongs to patriots,” one can only hope that these One World Order Bolsheviks once again get their comeuppance in the next election. Between Greta Thunberg, Iranian leadership and the Democratic party, political autism in the 21st Century is not just on the rise, it seems to be a disorder that is utterly paramount within their particular circles. "Political autism" - Love that one, Olivia! You don't mind if I steal it do you? All kidding aside, you're absolutely right it is beyond disgusting the way Greta Thunberg is being used by her handlers. For some reason it makes me think of how Judy Garland was treated by her handlers such as L.B. Mayer. (Not that Thunberg has any of the talent Judy Garland had.)

President Trumps tweet on Ms Thunberg addressed by way of irony a plain truth about Greta Thunberg that is missed by the media. She far from being a happy person. She is emblematic of the nihilistic culture of the beltway elites (surprisingly) and leftist culture that Nietzsche predicted. Your term political autism is apposite as it captures so well the loss of focus on the wider world and that 'happiness', joy and curiosity in life is still abounds.

Greta Thunberg's Swedish handlers conveniently forget the mess that country is in but quite ok about exploiting an obviously very troubled child. According to a recent article published by Gatestone Institute, Sweden now has 61 "no go" zones, 200 crime networks with 5000 criminals (most non Western) and since 2012 murder or attempted murder has increased 100%. Also Kalashnikov assault rifles are being smuggled in via the Middle East.
