Last night America decisively voted to place the nation’s leadership back into the hands of the grownups. No political act in the world could’ve mattered more in importance. What an exhilarating finale to this election! After being lectured by left and right wing media commentators (as late as Monday night) that the election was all but over and Clinton was the obvious winner, those of us steadily believing in a Trump victory had to put our faith entirely in the power of Trump’s unwaveringly simple message being absorbed by what is left of the true American spirit. The message was received loud and clear. To witness the lash of hubris cutting so deep into the presumptuous arrogance from the Clinton controlled media is nothing but a joy. Their cheating, lying, deceitful machinations to propel a crooked candidate back into the Whitehouse didn’t work. It’s a great day for American politics when the average voter successfully jabs the eject button to fling an elitest wrongdoer back out into the cold night. It’s not just Hillary Clinton they’ve rejected; it’s the whole immature, feeble, social-justice-warrior code with all its politically correct flakes who’d rather place on the talking-points memo such weighty topics as transgender bathrooms and workplace micro aggressions, than a clear strategy on how to defeat ISIS and home-grown terrorism. Nobody could encapsulate this puerile immaturity more than CNN’s activist-commentator Van Jones after it was clear that Clinton had lost the election. His whining is the only thing more unconscionable than his helicopter parenting style, but if you can bear it, here’s just a snippet: “It’s hard to be a parent tonight for a lot of us. You tell your kids don’t be a bully. You tell your kids don’t be a bigot. You tell your kids do your homework and be prepared. And then you have this outcome. And you have people putting children to bed tonight, and they’re afraid of breakfast. They’re afraid of, how do I explain this to my children? Afraid of breakfast?? Afraid of telling American kids that a man who was the subject of the most vile media bullying pileup in the history of the world has just won the presidency? Goodness! He also said: “This was a whitelash against a changing country. It was a whitelash against a black president in part. And that’s the part where the pain comes,” Everything is about poor black victims with this dude, and that folks is how these people mistakenly view the world – and they wonder how they could have possibly backed a loser? Someone needs to tell boy Jones to man up - and it’s got nothing to do with his skin colour and everything to do with the man-shaped hole inside him where his logic is meant to be. Hillary lost because she’s dishonest, deceitful and crooked. She also would’ve brought to the presidency the massive complication of still being under FBI investigation for the shady workings of her Clinton Foundation. She represented the continuation of a set of unAmerican socialist ideas that are childish, unintelligent, victim oriented (like Van Jones) and anaemic – in short, she represented U.N directed neoliberal globalism which would have been the ultimate undoing of her country. Globalism does not like independently sovereign nation states with strong borders anymore than it likes independently thinking people with strong leaders. To the undoing of America’s nationhood, Americans said ‘no thanks’. Well done Mr. Trump! Well done America, and thank you! You all have just averted a crisis in the Free World and though times are going to likely be tough, it's starting to look better already. On the Eve of the Election, from Downunder: Dear America...
by Olivia Pierson I can guarantee you that you are not the only ones experiencing feelings of trepidation on the eve of this momentous election –intimations of mortality might even be a more precise way of putting it; America’s mortality that is. Who would’ve thought it would come to this? For some of us who live in the Free World - though not in your backyard, so to speak, we have watched your decline with grief and horror. We see what can happen to the world when you do not take an active role in leading it: brutal Soviet expansionism, terrifying Iranian hegemony, bloody universal Islamic terrorism and millions and millions of displaced refugees and migrants flooding Europe. There are those who would argue that American leadership has nothing to do with these pervasive global ills, but they are the folks who have no sense of the history of America’s traditional role in the world as the greatest superpower on Earth in the service of ideas which breed freedom and prosperity. Slowly, in your great decline, we have watched the great individualistic spirit of Thomas Jefferson, John Adams, Abraham Lincoln, Mark Twain, Walt Whitman and Ronald Reagan shrink and morph into the weak-spirited imposters of the good old fashioned American Way - like Barrack & Michelle Obama, Michael Moore, Katy Perry, Al Gore and Bill & Hillary Clinton – those who preach shame on truth, justice “and all that stuff”, as a modern Superman movie saw fit to mistranslate a perfectly good Hollywood idiom. For decades we have missed the cocky all-American strength of your nation’s confidence in itself. We have missed the culture of the lone hard-ass fighter winning battles against the forces of dirty corruption and small-minded evil. We long to see you have a leader who exemplifies those attributes again in a world where cruelty and barbarism run rampant if they are not singled out and crushed. We long to see a Free World leader fuelled by righteous anger at that which is deeply antithetical to humankind’s flourishing. Some of us have longed to see these things from America so deeply that we’ve given up on ever hoping they would come to pass – and then on to the world stage strides a larger than life Donald Trump! When we consider that a Hillary Clinton has held herself up as a role model for girls and women, we feel sick to our stomachs that the bar of good character has been set so terribly low. She is the very thing that many of us nurture our daughters never to become: hollow, mean and status climbing, dishonest, selfishly opportunistic and deceitful – all while desperately pretending to be something more virtuous (I think Hillary calls it “ambition”). She is the epitome of a twisted, soulless gold-digger who relentlessly keeps up the pretense of a marriage riddled with infidelity, because of the power it can bring her – who the hell would wish that kind of character and life on our daughters? Hillary Clinton’s greatest foe is now Donald Trump, and she should be very afraid. Trump has declared war on American political corruption with his Contract with the American Voter. In this contract (which from a would-be politican is pure gold) he is determined to put an end to Washington corruption, which, like a malignant tumour has metastasized in the last eight years of toxic conditions where petty bureaucrats and lobbyists bribe business owners and foreign diplomats for influence over politicians who make decisions in their favour. Hillary Clinton is the absolute queen of this game and her arena of choice is called The Clinton Foundation. It is this entity which takes money from the Middle Eastern Nations which stone and hang women for fornication or adultery and throw homosexuals off tall buildings. None of that jades this reptilian 21st Century Jezebel, because whilst claiming to care about fairness and equality for human beings, she actually cares more about millions of dollars pouring into her macabre coffers. What will she give these theocratic, totalitarian countries in return for said millions? One can only shudder at what the answer might be, considering how much they hate Western values and our way of life. After the disgusting collusion between Hillary Clinton, the Department of Justice and the media has been made so clear through the work of Wikileaks and investigative journalists all over America, the choice to democratically elect this woman is utterly unconscionable. You would be electing a disingenuous crook, pure and simple, and there is no excuse with the power of the information on the internet at your disposal. Donald Trump with his America First, bold, brash, and at times vulgar, authentic bluntness is the only hope for America to reclaim its superpower status and be a force for good in the world once again. He has fought tirelessly like a reluctant hero against the low down dirty filth flung at him from the Madrina of Washington Mafia politics - and so many of us who have been watching in other countries who cannot vote long to see Americans choose the guy who represents not the lesser of two evils (that’s just clichéd stupidity for timorous fence sitters), but the guy who represents the courageous individuality, the strong bonds of a thriving family and the prosperous pride that Americans once upon a time endeavored to be all about.
