[First published on Incite 26/10/18] In light of several shoddily-made pipe bombs delivered along with a harmless powdered substance to prominent members of the Democratic party, President Trump issued a proper response saying: “In these times, we have to unify. We have to come together, and send one very clear, strong, unmistakable message that acts or threats of political violence of any kind have no place in the United States of America.” The official reply of Chuck Schumer and Nancy Pelosi is rather revealing in its blatant rejection of any unification with their president (and whether they like it or not, he is in fact their president): “President Trump’s words ring hollow until he reverses his statements that condone acts of violence. Time and time again, the President has condoned physical violence and divided Americans with his words and his actions: expressing support for the congressman who body-slammed a reporter, the neo-Nazis who killed a young woman in Charlottesville, his supporters at rallies who get violent with protesters, dictators around the world who murder their own citizens, and referring to the free press as the enemy of the people.” [Pelosi & Schumer] This deviously constructed little litany of the president’s sins is utterly classic as an official statement, classic for the usual mendacity it contains. President Trump never supported the neo-Nazi who killed poor Heather Heyer in Charlottesville, but rather he condemned the blatant violence of both sides who clashed that fateful day, the right-wing neo-Nazis and the left-wing Antifa black-shirts. The president has never been forgiven for equating Antifa black-shirt violence with that of the neo-Nazis, and never will be. However, considering there happen to be millions more Antifa black-shirt thugs than neo-Nazi thugs in America at present, the president struck the right balance in his condemnation of violence on both sides. And speaking of thugs, during the 2016 election the DNC (read: George Soros) were paying left-wing activists, including those who were homeless and mentally ill, to show up at all the Trump rallies in order to incite violence. After Project Veritas secretly filmed Robert Creamer boasting about this broad and well organised “operation,” Creamer had to resign, but does anyone seriously think these base Democrat tactics just stopped because they happened to get busted that time? President Trump has never expressed in word or deed “support” for dictators around the world who murder their own citizens. If Schumer and Pelosi have in mind the president’s diplomatic efforts toward trying to make a better world by engaging with Kim Jong-un, Vladimir Putin and Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince, they would do well to remember their pin-up-president when Obama slyly cozied up to Medvedev in 2015: “Tell Vladimir I’ll have more flexibility after the election,” not to mention the 20 percent of American uranium he bizarrely allowed to be sold into the grasping hands of the Russian regime. If Schumer and Pelosi truthfully have some aversion to American presidents engaging with dictators, they would also do well to remember the 100 billion plus dollars which Obama gave in cash to the totalitarian theocracy of Iran as part of the JCPOA deal; a regime which brutally cuts down its own citizens when they assemble to protest, a regime which calls for “Death to America” and “Death to Israel” as it funds the terrorist organisation of Hezbollah keeping it well stocked in weapons from Lebanon to Gaza and beyond. I don’t remember either Schumer or Pelosi expressing any sensitive scruples when that cash infusion from Obama and Kerry obviously helped to fund Iran’s continued war in Yemen while thousands upon thousands of Yemeni men, women, children and babies die from bombs, starvation and a viciously cruel plague of cholera. As for Schumer and Pelosi’s claim that President Trump refers “to the free press as the enemy of the people,” this is abject nonsense. The president specifically names “Fake News,” and the shameless pedlars of it, as the enemy of the American people, and he’s correct to do so. Those who deal in brazen lies and open deceit are the enemy of a free citizenry, and apart from the actual Fake News Media, there exists no better example of those well versed in rank lies than the despicable duo, Schumer and Pelosi. The deep divisions in political life powerfully split open during Obama’s anti-American, dumbed-down agenda to bring “fundamental change” to the country – and he did: diversity dribble infecting every corner of Corporate America, trans-gender-bathroom bollox being discussed on the Senate floor, silly gay rainbows over the Whitehouse, illegal spying on journalists like James Rosen and Sharyl Attkisson, the worst unemployment figures since WW2 (particularly detrimental for black Americans), the worst economic recovery stats since WW2 and the slyest, snakiest Secretary of State ever to send forth her long, sticky tentacles into the State Department which protected her from a much deserved prison sentence – twice! (Benghazi and the email scandal.) Obama’s divisive legacy culminated with his top-tier leadership using government apparatus to spy on the incoming opposition and then try to sabotage the new presidency by accusing him of Russian collusion, which is actually what the Democrats engaged in with the Uranium One deal and that infamous piece of fiction: the Trump dossier – all paid for by the Democratic National Committee. Belonging to a party which operates as sickly as this, it is little wonder that two Washington sewer rats like Schumer and Pelosi cannot respond in any kind of good faith to President Trump’s calls for unity. Good faith is utterly foreign to them and an insidious talent for sheer political survival is the only thing they will be remembered, though I think not admired, for.
